Oria Gate

The Oria Gate, earlier known as the Aurea Gate, is the best preserved section of the medieval defences. Despite having been lowered in the 19th century, the main body includes three narrow arches.

The two external arches were equipped with heavy doors, while that in the middle had a portcullis. Outside, until 1502, there was a drawbridge over a ditch.
